In our restaurant, near to Amsterdam, our guests are warmly welcomed with a purely spoiling service in a relaxed atmosphere, and a comfortable ambiance.
Otium’s team is under the management of Ruben de Vries (Restaurant Manager) and Tom Boere (Chef de Cuisine). Tom Boere qualifies his cooking style as “informally chique”. A style which is based on experience, passion, character and a preference for craftsmanship. Tom is passion-driven, and that leads to a continual search for refinement. His kitchen is characteristic for its fair products, natural craftsmanship, passion for the profession and a whiff of rock and roll.
Passion is the foundation of every dish the chef and his team will serve you. In our kitchen fresh, season based products are combined with influences from the most attractive worldly cuisines and mixed with the craftsmanship of our team.
All is coming to getter to achieve surprising culinary combinations in flavour. You are obviously also welcome for a drink at the bar, a tasty lunch, a relaxing drink or a fine lounge moment with colleagues or friends.
